Hello @ms9246

I would like to invite, Rachel, @rwinney, to this discussion. She has attended Mayo Clinic's Pain Rehab Center and perhaps she can add some insight to your question. As mentioned by @collegeprof, Mayo Clinic in Rochester does offer a great programs in pain management and pain rehabilitation.

Are you familiar with Mayo's programs? Have you consulted a pain specialist in your area?

My wife attended the program at the Mayo Phoenix Campus which also does an excellent job. I shall assume there is one in Florida as well. Teresa is correct. One should go see a pain specialist first for treatment.

Hello @ms9246 Asking for help is a step in the right direction. So glad you did. The Mayo Clinic Pain Rehabilitation Center (PRC) offers help to people living with chronic conditions like yourself, post surgical pain, nerve pain, organ dysfunction.

I graduated PRC and found it to be a life changing experience that taught and provided tools to live a better life. Understanding where and how pain is derived, creating a comprehensive plan of action, both physically and mentally, and having a tool box of coping mechanisms, empowered me to accept, move forward and live my best "C" life.

Thanks @collegeprof for jumping in and mentioning that your wife had a positive PRC experience. "Helping immensely" is not an understatement when it comes to PRC. Work the program and the program works for you.

@ms9246 I'm here to help. Please ask me any questions you may have. Does PRC sound like a program you might be interested in?
