@ms9246 Yes, Tylenol is what the doctors want you to take when you have chronic kidney disease. If you haven't already done so, have you explained your pain situation with your medical team, to get more possible ideas from them? Is there something like a topical cream to use on the cervical fusion area? Is there a possibility of a nerve issue causing the pain? You can see I don't know much about what a fusion can cause! As a fellow kidney issue patient, though, I am well aware of the proverbial brick wall we find ourselves up against when it comes to pain management.

My wife had her neck fused as well as her back, exactly 13 screws in her back. Mayo Clinic offers a daily 3 week program on pain management. This program helped her immensely.
