Hey @techi, I sent your comment to Dr. Maynard and she said it was out of her realm of expertise as a Family and Sports Medicine physician. She recommends asking your neurologist.
My experience is that Drs don't want to know about brain injury from assault by a boss because they don't want to have to testify in court.
They will not name the injuries
I was hit by a car (girl texting) while on my bike. I was wearing a helmet. This may be my 3rd concussion. It has been 2 weeks and I have noticed sounds seem higher, lightheadedness and forgetfullness. I am anxious to get back to my active lifestyle but right now I am only walking, not back on the bike or skiing. Any suggestions?
Couple of thoughts - at the time of the accident - did you get the girl’s name and insurance information? Did the police or emergency services come to the scene? Did you go to the hospital? You obviously need to be seen for a current diagnosis and care. Then you need to be evaluated within the context of this being possibly your 3rd concussion. But your med issues could be something else so please get checked out.
