Elizabeth, it takes little effort to hold the paintbrush and dip into your watercolor pan. So I heartily encourage you to give it a try again. Please. 😘 Art can be so healing. It’s gotten me through some incredibly challenging times, even if it’s just to doodle! When I struggled to reach the brush over to the water jar and back I found using a water-brush, where there is water in the brush handle, was a super cool alternative. But just having those moments of solitary expression is so peaceful and distracting. Allows for incremental healing under the surface. ☺️
Have you tried neurographic art?

@loribmt, @artist01, and all...thank you, Lori, for this encouragement.
I have never heard of neurographic art. Done with the neurons in the brain? Sorry, they're diminishing, I'm afraid. What is that? When I was in the hospital at Mayo I bought a coloring book and art pencils thinking I'd enjoy. I do, but it's tough holding the darn pencils. I need to get fat pencils and use this as a zoning method. Good breaks from struggles, depression. And, just like the flowers at the garden center are my mental health times, so full of life and color. Color is so important in my health, maybe for everyone.
Solitary expression is indeed peaceful.
I'll go online to ck out this art and see how watercolors have changed. Thanks, my friend. be well, Elizabeth

@loribmt, @artist01, et al...I just watched and am watching youtube videos re neurographic art. I love it. Love the concept and the art. I was always a doodler and this expands it wonderfully.

I'm taking my car to the doctor tomorrow and will pick up a few supplies on the way. I'm getting started tomorrow and am truly excited inside. This is an art I can do now, as I am, anywhere, in bed, in my lounge chair, at the desk...I'm excited about this.

Thank you so much, Lori. Your suggestion is perfect for me now. Yeah!!!!
Blessings, my friend. I bet Laurie is doing this, yes? be well, be blessed. Elizabeth
