I am very thankful for this forum too. I do not know anyone else around me with PMR. I went five years without being diagnosed. I have a number of autoimmune syndromes which confused the issue. It was not until my daughter got diagnosed with lupus that I finally got myself tested again and discovered that I had PMR.

Hi @mzamyl I was not diagnosed with PMR, then GCA, for a year. I can't imagine 5 years. My pain was on a scale of 10 out of 10, with some mild relief at night. How was your pain? How did you function all that time?
