I've had close to a year at first I didn't think anything with the bottom of my feet and toes feeling weird. I went to my neurologist and he said I didn't have it then it said maybe slightly. To make a long story short went to a neurologist that was recommended. He did an EMG and I have a mild form of neuropathy in my feet. I don't feel it when I'm wearing shoes but when I take my shoes off then I feel the numbness on the bottom of my foot and toes...I don't know how I got it I eat healthy my weight is a bit under what it should be and most importantly I work out every day half hour on my eliliptical, bike or treadmill for a half hour and a half hour with working my body with a total gym.

Hi again @faust73, Somewhere in these posts you may read the percentages that apply to these neuropathy sources. The top two are diabetes and chemotherapy. The next one is traumatic injuries and then idiopathic. If I am not spot on then I am close. One of those will have more to do with the neuropathy in your feet than anything like lack of exercise. The problem with the feet is that without applying MFR (myofascial release therapy) or other options for keeping the feet from becoming numb, you may reach a point where driving is contraindicated. I have two MFR sessions a week with special attention on the feet. That works for me. As I have mentioned before, you can have a skin biopsy to determine the degree to which you do not have enough nerve cells to be able to feel the brake and gas pedal. My skin test biopsy came back at .09 which indicates that I didn't have much going on there......at least not enough to make me feel safe driving. Mine was labeled severe. Have you had a skin biopsy punch test? Only takes a minute and is not painful.

It is great to see that you are a healthy eater and a loyal exerciser.
