I’ve adventures down these roads as well with severe effects of back pain and feet , hands numb I’ve tried the spinal cord stimulator had it for 8 months never worked I had the paddle type leads with a lot of coverage all of my back , legs , feet , arms , hands . I’m in a wheelchair I can’t feel my feet anymore . I also don’t feel hot or cold but that being said only thing that will work entirely for the pain is a pain pump
forget the stimulators go see your pain management and get it done a lot safer then any stimulators and and you will still be able to get MRI’s. My 2 cents . The more you get cut on and the more injections you get the more scar tissue your causing . NONE OF THAT IS GOOD be your own advocate you know your own pain level no o w else can tell you how you feel don’t fall for the BS with stimulators you have pain 24/7 the pain pump is the only way to go . Your mind and soul will thank you for it

The neurosurgeon I am seeing, says a patience age is an important factor in whether to use the pain pump. At 72, he said I am too old to use the pain pump. He said, at my age, I would have difficulty dealing w/ the drug addiction.
