The only thing you can do is go on a low acid diet. No soda, booze, vinegar based products, no tomato products or fried fast foods. Drink water,
Green tea, unsweetened almond milk and low acid coffee like health wise. Cut out salt, pepper, and most seasoning. I take a ppi for my BE and on my last scope there was no sign of BE. The diet does work.

I wish I could take a PPI but I’m allergic! Crazy, right? I used to eat a very strict diet but got off of it and my BE flared back up. I guess I’ll get back on it!

So you do or don’t take a PPI?

So do you drink decaf green tea? Any sweetener? I heard we could use manuka honey

It also worked for me. No sign of Barrett's on my recent endoscopy. Also cut out citrus products, raw garlic and onion. "The Low Acid Watcher Diet" by Dr. Jonathan Aviv recommends substituting Celtic salt and Bragg Liquid Aminos (for soy sauce), both available at Whole Foods. Good luck!
