@nicatesedov Thank you for asking. I am doing well. I am 5+ years past my cervical spine fusion surgery and doing well. I recently had some imaging and there is no adjacent segment disease. The fusion healed well. My range of motion is the same as before surgery except that with flexion, I cannot touch my chin to my chest, but it is pretty close. I will add that it was a single level C5/C6 done without spinal hardware. I had concerns about reactions to foreign materials and having only a bone spacer let the bone heal naturally. I also have thoracic outlet syndrome that causes tightness in my neck, shoulder and chest, so I work on that in physical therapy and there is some tightness from the spine surgical incision area on my neck. I had a great recovery after spine surgery and you may enjoy the story.
