Can Prolia be safely and reasonably discontinued?

Hi, I firmly decided that my body did not want Prolia - the side effects for me were not good - very similar to your plus hair loss. So, why are you putting a drug into your body that it does not want and cannot handle. Do you know why Prolia has to be given in a special setting? It is dangerous to handle - check it out for yourself. Good luck.

Hi there @sewcouture, thanks for your participation in this discussion. I am concerned about the special setting? Can you describe what that means. Is it a lab or clinic? How is it made special. I have had two injections of Prolia and another coming up.

Dear sewcouture, Yes ! My body is telling me that Prolia is a poison for me but every doctor I have is telling me that if I stop it without replacing it with Reclast that I will get spinal fractures etc. And the side effects of Reclast appear to be as bad as Prolia. I am panicked about what to do. My third injection of Prolia is due March 21st. I hope all goes well with you. I have been taking vitamin D3 and Calcium for years. Bless you
