WRIST PAIN WITH BRUISING

I have never had anything like this before. The bruising just puts a mystery on it for me. My neighbor who is a wrecker driver is always hurting something… he said “you pulled a tendon”. I am sure I did .. but could also be torn. It swelled a lot this afternoon. I used moist heating pad on it awhile ago and the swelling went down.

I dug through my braces. I have had many over the years. I ran a cash register and calculator as well as doing a lot of lifting in my work days in retail and in weeding many vegetable gardens.. kneading bread dough, etc. It takes a toll on the body. I found a brace that seems to be comfortable to wear and will wear it until I see a doctor.

Carpal tunnel and other wrist pain can be helped with stretches. Ergonomics--sitting up straignt, with feet on the ground, with shoulders in good position, desk height set up right go a long way for prevenition. PT before surgery is advised.
