I read where prilia is lifelong because if the rebound fractures. Would need a relay med after? Is Fosamax an option? Or actenol or Evista?
I just started Fosamax, worried about jaw decay, go to dentist in July for my 6 month. I don't want prolia or reclast, can't afford evenity or other anabolic, but you still have to relay to another osteo med after these too. It's a vicious cycle. I take calcium, d3, k2, magnesium, exercise , increased protein. I'm 66 and have osteoporosis and a back surgery in 2023 with hardware.
I researched Evista, going to ask Dr about that. Doesn't have jaw decay, but has a risk of possible blood clots and hot flashes.
Good luck to all.
Hi, I firmly decided that my body did not want Prolia - the side effects for me were not good - very similar to your plus hair loss. So, why are you putting a drug into your body that it does not want and cannot handle. Do you know why Prolia has to be given in a special setting? It is dangerous to handle - check it out for yourself. Good luck.
