How do I make sense of my biopsy results?

I am glad you have a MRI scheduled. Is there a reason they are waiting till May?

I found a lump five months after a normal mammogram. I have dense breast which makes it harder for mammograms' to find abnormal tissue. A MRI will give better details.

One suggestion, use this time to get as healthy as you can. If you end up having surgery, the healthier you are, the faster you will recover from surgery.

If your having problems controlling your anxiety, talk to your dr about. They may suggest an anti anxiety medication or a therapist.

Check into other relaxing techniques; exercising, meditation, reading books, coloring, anything to stay busy.

I started crocheting again. Nothing complicated, simple wash clothes. I took it with me to dr appointments to kill time between appointments. I crochet countless wash clothes during my cancer treatment.

Stay calm
Laurie

Dear Laurie, thanks for your response it was very welcoming. I am fortunate to have good people around me and good Dr’s. there is nothing comforting about finding a lump, a month and a half after a Mammogram. I guess the best news is they can remove it. I am going to ask why my MRI is pushed out so far? I have a call put into the nurse practitioner at the Breast care Center. I will try to get answers Monday. Thanks for the support !!💟
