i would absolutely love to have a therapy dog at this time of my life, but firstly, my landlord says no dog, and secondly, i couldn't take care of a dog by myself. i can barely take care of my cat. i am an isolated senior and physically older than my 67 years. i can barely walk with a walker to walk a dog. i've recently had a brain stem stroke and have already had a mild heart attack. but i would so love a dog who would provide me love and emotional support. any ideas?

All you need is a Doctor's letter stating your condition and a SUPPORT ANIMAL would be very important for your well being. I finally got a dog after showing my Landlord the letter and he could not say NO. You can train your dog to go potty on a pad, that's what I did because I was not well enough to walk her. She is my total Support! No family near, and I can't tell you how fortunate I am to have Missy Bojangles. She goes everywhere with me in a Luggage Cart I bought for her, the Doctors, Emergency Hospital, absolutely everywhere>
