Crackergirl, have you or are you currently receiving treatment for MAC? Is the diagnosis of aspergillosis new or were you diagnosed with both at the same time?

Hello Crackergirl! Yes, I have been treated for both aspergillus and pseudomonas. I was put on nebulized tobramycin. It knocked it out within 30 days. I have been lucky, some people get these fungal infections and never get rid of them. Some drs choose not to treat these because they will sometimes go away on their own. I would suggest Googling each fungus and learn what meds can be used to treat them and then ask your dr about them. Are you coughing a lot as a result of these fungal infections?
