Thank you. My Doctor suggested a Lumbar puncture, however, I am under the impression that this should not be done as I also have chiari malformation. Thoughts?

I think it's good to be concerned about any type of surgical procedure and worth seeking a second opinion if there are any questions or risks. I did find some guidelines that may be helpful.
