Long term side effects from salvage radiation: Gas?

Has anyone experienced any long term side effects from salvage radiation to the prostate bed? . I had 39 treatments 8 years ago and now am having excessive gas and gas pains. I was wondering if this was a long term side effect from the radiation ? Thank you Steve C.

I had SRT in March 2016, so far, no SEs.

That's familiar. I had 45 treatments in 1998 and I am now having excessive gas. My prostate also started bleeding last year.

I finished my 39 treatments last July and now having excessive gas also. I have to take "no gas" pills almost every night. Other than that all is good.

Are you saying the gas is a new late side effect? What helps?

I don’t know if It IS a long term side effect or not. I’m trying to find that out. I
My doctor told me to try probiotics.
