Should 4+ Pseudomonas be treated?

Guaifenesin is OTC. When I am coughing a lot, I switch to 3% saline. Sometimes I think the 7% irritates my throat more than my lungs.

I also find sometimes the 7% saline to be somewhat irritating to my lungs especially after extended exercise. I found a box of 0.9% normal saline on Amazon and on days my lungs feel irritated will add 1-2 ml to the 4 ml of 7% and it works very well. Hi Sue. Where do you find the 3% saline? Can I request it through my pharmacy?
