Does anyone understand how AMH levels work?

Does anyone understand how AMH levels work and if so, what does it mean to have a level of 8 (8.84) for a male (20 years old)?

Hello @amandajro how are you?

My concern is that I may have PMDS or Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome. I had my genes tested through sequencing.com and the results came back for it. I actually have four appointments with Mayo Clinic Hospital Endocrinology Department so I will follow up with them about this. But I posted the AMH blood level because I wanted to get clarity on what a normal and abnormal level would be for a male. I understand the article may shed some light on this. Thank you!

Spowell, I hope you get some answers at your upcoming appointments at Mayo Clinic. If you're comfortable, I'd be interested what you learn.
