Do you know what fungal infection you have? Knowing that would help you find out how that infection manifests itself. Are you on anti fungal meds?
My only experience with fungal infection was 1.5 years ago when I got Valley Fever. It affected my lungs and my skin. Anti fungal meds helped me.
Hi. Wondering how dr diagnosed you. My husband was in Arizona and one day he lost control of legs. Weak, in pain. When we got back up north the dr here prescribed prednisone and it got immediately better but not total. No,it wasn't a arthritis. What were your symtoms
I had a blood test for Valley Fever and it came positive. Doctors in Arizona are always on the lookout for Valley Fever. I wasn’t diagnosed with it initially when I had pain in my lungs, but the rash and swelling in my legs a week later alerted my nurse practitioner to test me for VF.
@leezah, here's a list of fungal diseases from the Center for Disease Control

I have the same question as @alive. Do you know what type of fungal infection you have?
Hi Colleen. I’m not sure. If you know how to read this chart that would give you the answer . Thank you for sharing this fungal infection info.
Did your doctor go over these results with you? It's best to discuss with your doctor.
Yes she did and I’m on a anti fungal program. I just not sure what fungal matter is more danger to the nervous system.
