Hi all, it looks like this discussion has veered off topic from soy and AIs to joint pain, arthritis and trigger thumb side effects. It's a great topic that I think deserves its own discussion.

Please start a new discussion in the Breast Cancer group https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/breast-cancer/
Or you may add to this one:
- Can joint pain of aromatase inhibiters (AIs) be reversed completely? https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/can-joint-pain-of-aromatase-inhibiters-ais-be-reversed-completely/

Thank you.

I just want to add, in case people are scared by these posts, that many of us took aromatase inhibitors like anastrazole and did fine. Also it usually takes years to develop retinopathy from diabetes so I am wondering how it happened so fast. It is possible the diabetes pre-dated the med? I will post in the new thread and responses should go there too.
