The long term damage that steroids can do is well documented in literature. It is for this reason that I’ve never had lumbar spine injections of cortisone for my OA, spinal stenosis or extremely neuropathy. I’ve never heard of this type of procedure except maybe in a critical care unit. You are smart to stay clear.
