I had a Harrington rod placement in 1976 when I was 15. I am currently 61 and am glad I had the surgery. Prior to the surgery I had constant back pain and my clothes never fit right. While it took me years to figure out good diet and exercise would make my life better I am currently physically active and living a regular life. I’ve had to get a firmer pillow as my neck has had some problems related to the geometry of the surgery..nothing a good pillow won’t ease. Good luck and take care of yourself 😊.
