@amandajro, thanks for researching for me. My neurologist mentioned it, as did my hematologist. But, I've been searching for help since my symptoms started in 2007. I believe they're just trying to find anything to help me, which I appreciate. But, I'm reluctant and would rather find the root of the problem.

Have to be careful with steroids as they can exacerbate diabetes / greatly increase blood glucose levels
