@avash You're very welcome, and thank you for your empathy. I learned managing tools while attending Mayo's Pain Rehab Center for 3 weeks and am doing okay. My best advice for you is to learn and rely on self-help tools like diaphragmatic breathing, meditation and mindfulness. If you work at calming your mind and body you may need less medication, which is always the goal, and your symptoms may quiet down a bit.

Distraction, distraction, distraction. I cant stress it enough when dealing with chronic issues. Things like humor, children, animals, talking to a friend (about happy stuff), and focusing on function over feelings. Feelings can take us down a rabbit hole (believe me, I was Bugs Bunny). Physical activity, healthy diet, and knowing that you got this!

I'm glad the video made sense to you. Knowledge is power. 💪

How have you currently been dealing with your symptoms, when they are heightened? What distracts you in the moment?

"@rwinney with me I had anxiety it wasn't bad I just used to get nervous if I go out due to my ibs issue. Once I got covid I really knew what was anxiety and panick attack I had all the time. Sti do now but I try to breathe. Since mine is a vibration 24/7 it's very annoying especially in my stomach. I need to try and to meditation again. I left work last yr due to this ailment so bei g home sucks. I will make sure I get on track this yr and recover so I can get back to work. I appreciate ur advice.
