reply to windyshores, Thank you so very much for your response. My Osteoporosis : Dual Femur T -3.4, AP Spine T -2.2 Osteopenia, Left forearm radius T -5.6 Osteoporosis. Note states, At high risk for fracture without impact. I am trying to gather all of the wisdom I can before I have to make a decision on March 21st. I have appointments with my Endocrinologist, Oncologist ( I see this doctor because I have a T cell gene rearrangement for monoclonal population )my Neurologist, and my Pulmonologist before March 21st. However, every one of these doctors told me that Prolia was absolutely the best Osteoporosis drug to take, before I got my first injection. I don't expect to escape all side effects, but my experience with Prolia (second injection) were severe for eight weeks. I was told that Prolia was the best choice because it has 15% fewer side effects than any of the other choices. This really frightens me. Again, I really appreciate any information you can give me.

Prolia was the only med my endocrinologist would NOT suggest. I believe because of the sharp drop in bone density when stopping but perhaps also because I have lupus. I will ask him next time. Interesting that your spine is not osteoporotic yet. Look up each of the drugs: Forteo, Tymlos, Evenity, Reclast....I needed a bone growing anabolic first as you would too and the first three are in that category. I am doing Tymlos so I can adjust the dose and am saving Evenity for later. I am sensitive to meds and my treatment was delayed for years because docs didn't want me to have side effects (like afib), and the net result was fractures. I will take side effects over fractures for a year or two anyway. Tymlos has been tolerable with the ramping up of dose.
