Today I listened to a sermon given by a Jewish Rabbi, one sentence hit me this is what he said "Each one of our soul is a piece of God, and each one is equally important in His eyes" ; therefore (and this is my addition) none can feel cast down or above anyone.

When an individual performs an act of kindness we are "repairing the world". So, yes, we are equally important to G-d bec ause we are all capable of those acts of kindness and not one of us is better than the other. But...as humans we do tend toward the judgmental, don't we? And we are, at times, the worst judge of ourselves. I've been learning about self-compassion. I put my hand over my heart, notice the warmth, and say to myself , breathe. And come back to breathing.
