What's outside of your picture window today?
As we get ready for the real winter to show up and COVID-19 still playing a major part in our lives I like to spend moments of my day de-stressing about what's going on in the world today. All I have to do is look out the window and observe some of natures beautiful creatures, how they interact and ponder how small it makes my troubles seem. Sometimes I may even get the opportunity to take a photo or two. How about you? Anything going on outside of your window(s) that you want to share?
For those members that have the ability to size your photos before you upload them to the discussion, may I suggest using the following sizes:
– 500 x 335 pixels (landscape)
– 210 x 210 pixels (square)

Ah, thank you…I find you amazingly inspiring for your positivity and always comforting insights!
Someone sent me this yesterday…I don’t have a cat, but my little dog relates to this in the Vermont winter!
Wow JK, your daughter’s pup is a very fortunate one!
@contentandwell Good Morning in reading your reply. Have you ever applied to the Radius Assist Program? I did and will receive 18 months free which will finish my two years with no cost. It comes to the house right from Radius every three months. If interested I will send the information to apply. I spend $2000 for the first six months till I heard of the program. Hope you are staying well, KLH
Hi unseen friends. Nature is amazing ( except when you're getting 10" of new snow) ....ah well, this too shall pass. We love our birds and they are on our feeders regardless of the weather. Carolina Wrens are the newest addition to our feathered family and I love watching them fly to the deck for chopped peanuts, along with the Juncos. We also have squirrels and this week we are feeding them nuts in the shell. You know they love them when they climb the broomstick near the sliding door and look inside wanting more!
Nature is amazing, comforting and delightful.
Take care everyone!
@oldhen enjoy the squirrels I have not been able to watch any for many a year. Growing up we had quite a few but now out on the farm the cattle and cats keep them away. I may see one running across the field but only one. We have lots of winter birds that sneak down and grab a nibble from a cat or dog food bowl on the patio. Thanks for sharing your view from your window. Stay safe and enjoy. KLH
@kilh I did try various avenues before getting on Tymlos but being on Medicare the only option was one where you had to have a limited income, and the limit was lower than our income, unfortunately.
@athenalee This is my daughter's second rescue pup, and yes, the pups have been very lucky. My daughter and her husband both dote on their little dogs, they get treated like princesses.
By the way, our snow was not as bad as predicted. It changed to rain so then was wet and heavy. UGH. We didn't lose power until the precipitation had totally stopped. I guess the weight of the snow on some trees brought some lines down. When we moved to a neighborhood with underground wiring we figured power outages would be much less frequent but the wires coming into our neighborhood are not underground so we still get many outages.

You stay safe too, KLH! Blessings!
I see my mother’s plants outside my window. I had planted some of her potted plants in my yard after she departed. A small previously potted olive tree has now filled in the front yard, her roses surround it, & the Paper-white bulbs she had given me have bloomed.
We finally received some decent rain out West & her roses have rejoiced with some early flowers. Their beauty inspires me to go outside & prune, seal, fertilize & spray them (Sorry, I wish I knew how to attach photos).
