KLH, I was trying to add a little humor. The heated seat is my lap the kitty is laying on. I have in the past used a Snuggle Safe Pet Bed that you can warm up in the microwave and it holds the heat for awhile. There's not as much wind today and it's partly cloudy but still colder than I like it at 18 degrees. Not sure what the wind chill is but it seems colder and there isn't much activity around the bird feeder.

Thanks for the humor. But my lap is not so warm and there are five of them. They just will not fit, also they will not let me pet them or certainly not hold them. There are two old mother cats. One has an almost two-year-old son and the other has a three-year-old son and a two-year-old daughter. After nine years that is what is left. When we first moved to this farm that had been vacant only the pasture was rented. There were almost forty barn cats and I could not keep track of all the litter born but over the last ten years, I only have five. A better number and a lot less to feed. Once in a while, I can hold a baby kitten if I can find them. Lost our indoor cat a few years ago but never replaced her. I do miss having one or two cats in the house.
