Your going to want to eliminate all acidic foods. No booze, no soda, drink water, unsweetened almond milk, decaf green tea. No Mexican food, no Italian food, no fast foods. No fried foods. No vinegar products, no apple cider vinegar, no tomato products. No OJ or lemons and no limes. Eat chicken breasts, turkey, tuna in water, baked fish is good. vegetables with no salt or pepper. Baked or mashed potatoes are good. Cut out sugar too. I bought the book “the acid watcher diet” off Amazon. This book gave me some great info. Try to stay away from gmo foods.Fresh is better and organic if you can afford it. Stay away from chocolate and mints. Stop eating 3 hrs before bed. Breakfast for me is usually cheerios with almond milk and health wise low acid coffee with almond milk as a creamer. Almond milk neutralizes acid. Ripe bananas are ok to eat. Melons are ok too. Eat whole grain wheat bread, oatmeal, shredded wheat and bran. I was diagnosed with acid reflux along with Barrett’s esophagus. On my last scope there was no sign of Barrett’s esophagus. So the low acid diet does work. Good luck! Any questions, just ask, lots of nice helpful people on this site.

Happy for you that there is no sign of Barrett's esophagus! Good for you.
You must have been disciplined in following the diet. I'll get the book
Cheers!

This is very helpful, thank you! I was recently diagnosed with Barretts as well. Did you also take PPI's and aspirin to clear it up?
