This is my Tinkerbell, she came to us a year after hurricane Katrina when she remained unclaimed. We had her 15 years and she got quite old, but we don’t know for sure how old. We said our good byes and buried her under the fig tree, where she spent her summers waiting for the sweet fruit, then eating as much as she could find if we didn’t get them all picked up. We would leave her one each day on purpose for the few weeks they were ripe.

Aww Chris, what a precious little girl! Look at that face. I’m sure she could get away with everything! I’m so happy for you and her that you all wound up together! She had a good life and was well loved. ☺️

Beautiful Chris…I’m very sorry for your loss. Zerbina is a “Dixie Dog” from NC, abandoned and pregnant. We’ve been together 14 years, she’s about 16. Unfortunately has Cushings Disease. She’s a trooper though and I’m learning a lot about care and compassion as I put on my boots to carry her outside and keep her bundled up, keep her hungry Doxie stomach happy, and, hug her lots!
