I am loving these stories and photos as I am in North Central Oregon, where it is cold with snow and freezing rain. Frankly, I am already tired of shoveling snow... and it is only January. I used to love playing in the snow, but now that my husband is disabled... and ALL of the chores are mine to do... I prefer the sunny Senoran Desert. I must admit that I am dying laughing over the "fit-bitch." LOL

😅 I wondered if someone would pick up on my pet name for my ‘walking companion’. Fit-bitch just came out one night when I’d finally just sat down and already ‘she’ was nagging me to get another 250 steps in. You can see where this is going. 😂.

I love winter but as we get a little older and our lives change I admit it’s losing some of the appeal. Not in it’s beauty but in trying to navigate walking without losing dignity of feet going up in the air while my bum is on the ground. And in your case having to shoulder the responsibility of the outside work.
We should all post some sunny, summer picts!
You mentioned the Sonoran Desert. Do you go to Arizona for a break in the winter?
