Not for sure - but within one year after my replacements 90% of the problems were gone. The remaining 10% - poor heat regulation in my body, essential & tendency to high heartbeat - could be due to the metals, the Graves disease that the metals caused (since resolved) or just a hereditary tendency that kicked in from the heavy metal poisoning - no one knows for sure. The permanent numbness in my outer thigh is from the metals that deposited there, but that's better than the nerve pain that used to be. This is year 10 since the replacements, and they are perfect.. This is kind of the same thing as some long Covid - did the virus cause it, or was it a particular body's inflammatory response to the virus?

I am so glad that those chromium/cobalt metal-on-metal hips are off the market!

I have realized that my memory was bad….but it seems to be getting worse. Another thing is, I’ve had healthy teeth & gums until like a month ago, I feel like I may have 2 cavities & im not sure (cuz I’ve never experienced it before). But I think my gums are receding at an alarming pace…🤷‍♀️

I have a new one…I woke up this morning., & BOTH my hips were killing me! That’s a new one…I couldn’t lay on either side!

B4 my rev., I was in a deep dark depression…after rev., I felt better but I noticed the bouts of depression seem to come & go. Well, I started a “bout” almost 2 weeks ago. It IS NOT letting up. I can’t get out of bed, I don’t want to live again. I recognize this, because that’s what I felt for a while. It’s not normal for me. I don’t know what’s going on…I thought this would ease up as metal levels decreased..HELP
