I don't know any statistics but it absolutely can.
In men it can cause ED, loss of desire, inability to get and maintain an erection, ejaculation problems, inability to orgasm. In women, it can diminish lubrication, pleasure, orgasm.
It can also cause numbness and the various painful sensations associated with Neuropathy.
Take care,
Jake

When I was 59, I had first symptoms of sporadic neuropathy which occurred about the same as mild ED. I did did not know it was neuropathy at the time, and my PCP kind of shrugged off my neuropathy symptoms. Fast forward 3 years, both got worse. For the last 4 years. I have numbness only (no pain) in my feet/toes, and it is responding to treatment. No luck with the ED though.. Is there a cause and effect? Who knows.

YES!!!!~
