I'm 80 years old and grow my own. Just don't do what I did. I toasted it and added it to chocolate, licking the bowl as I went along and finished it up. Yum! About 90 minutes later i felt so weird and realized i was stoned. It was horrible. I knew it would pass eventually, but, I was essentially paralyzed for 6 hours.

Hi I tried CBD did not work. You would have to get CBD with NO THC. THC is what gets you high. Wow! that had to be awful getting stoned. I would not like that feeling so no THC for me. Just be careful but like I said it never worked for me. I have just the feeling of numb in my feet no pain, so nothing for me that would work for the numbness! Good Luck take care!!

I have used it but I have numbness in feet no pain. Nothing for me I guess. It does drive me nuts. CBD might work for you for pain. They have CBD with no THC and some with. The THC is what makes you high so you have to watch out with that. I asked my friend in Nevada she goes to a store that sells all that stuff. Good Luck hope you get some relief!!

Every night when I lie down to sleep I can depend on a rousing outburst of neuropathy: pain in my feet, working up the leg to the knees (numbness that hurts, spots of volcanic bursts of deep pain at the ankles and knees, burning sensations) that make rest impossible. I use an electric mattress pad turned up quite high to literally toast the bottom of my feet; seems as if this competes with the pain and wears it out. The whole process takes about 20 min. and usually results in the pain diminishing. Both the pain, and I, are worn out!

Thanks! It's some comfort to hear from another person - to hear from you - and know we are not alone...

I use a CBD cream on the parts in my legs and feet that have neuropathic pain and that does seem to help. There's also a similar cream that contains ibuprofen- much better than taking it in tablet form, that can hurt your stomach after a while. I hope this helps.

Some folks start laughing at nothing in particular and get what the stoners used to call the munchies. You could also easily lose your balance and fall. Not a good thing for us old timers.

The cream I have used is Diclofenac Topical - I have CKD so I can't take ibuprofen and this works very well for me.

I recently bought 2,000 mg CBD oil and the first dropper put me to sleep in minutes. I got it more to help as a sleep aid when I’m in pain than to help with pain. If you use it often your body adjusts and it doesn’t have the same effect of relaxing you to sleep.

I like the idea of Diclofenac Cream, is it available in England do you know? I had not heard of it in cream form.
