As always, seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider to check if medications suggested in online forums may be helpful in your specific case.
- Fenofibrate is used to lower "bad" cholesterol and fats (such as LDL, triglycerides) and raise "good" cholesterol (HDL) in the blood.
- Colchicine is used to prevent or treat gout attacks (flares).
- Low dose aspirin every day may lower the risk of heart attack and stroke.
- Vitamin D (ergocalciferol-D2, cholecalciferol-D3, alfacalcidol) is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps your body absorb calcium and phosphorus.

Dee, I'm glad that your doctor found a combination of medications that worked for you. What symptoms did you have? Were they new after COVID or do you also have underlying health conditions, such as heart issues?

Leg cramps, shortness of breath, brain fog, fatigue, hot then cold, burning feet, anxiety, heart palpitations insomnia, hands shaking to where I couldn’t write my name, could barely function at work. These all went away after the 3rd day of meds. I lost 32lbs in 2 months. I had no underlying medical conditions. My covid was a moderate case. I did get the mono antibody treatment. Hope this helps.
