My SNF has been verified by a biopsy. Yesterday with rain on its way every fiber in my body was screaming at me. I am allergic to so many medicines that even the common ones I can’t take. I also have fibromyalgia. My rheumatologist does not know what else to do. Can a neurologist help?

Sadly probably not. Just more meds.

@jansendscards, Have you thought about trying any complementary or integrative therapies? The Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy has some listed here - https://www.foundationforpn.org/treatments/

Many people have found that Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) helps. There is a discussion on MFR that you might find helpful also.

Have you heard of or tried MFR?

I have had this for 11 years. Nothing seems to help except for low dose hydrocodone.. I only take two a day, 5-325 strength and they help pretty much. However, lately the pain is more severe (the weather maybe?) and my feet are freezing at night, so electric blanket for a couple of hours helps some. The last two weeks I have woke up with leg or feet cramps, and the Caleb Treeze Organic Farms Stops Leg & Foot Cramps helps stop those. (Amazon) With the new year, I am joining all the others who are out of shape and I will start exercising a bit. That helps.

Who gave you the skin biopsy?
