I take three BP meds. Amlodipine, Metoprolol (75mg) and lisinopril; If I didn't my BP would likely be in the range you are describing.

The University docs tried me on Lisinopril, Diovan, Carvedilol, Losartan & Valsartan and some others I can't remember. Just found out Metoprolol, even just the 25mg, messed with my Synthroid. I have no Thyroid and have been in Hypothyroid several times, so not good to take something that messes with it. And I have to take a Channel Blocker BP with my Stage 4 CKD. Norvasc name brand and also the Generic for those that can use Generic is Kidney Friendly and a Channel Blocker.
