Now that's interesting about the generic norvasc. I'll check to see what I'm taking. When I took bp recently it was about 190 over something. The machine said critical, critical!
Just wondering why they put you on generic Amlodipine. Meantime, keep up hoping. I try my best, sounds like you are too.

Yes, we do keep trying our best. Never give up. This issue with 'the filler in Generic BP meds or any Maintenance medication (meaning meds you have to take everyday the rest of your life) per the Professor at the University, said it affects Seniors. And it is an Adverse affect, not a side affect or allergic reaction. Adverse means it pecomes permanent if you stay on the medications. I did call my Pharmacist and just asked him if the Generic Amlodipine causes pain in the pelvic and legs. He told me it can cause Myalgia in the elderly. That is why I went to the University to be tried on ALL Channel Blocker Generic BP medications because my RX Plan was refusing to cover the Name Brand after 20 years. Because of my Thyroid and CKD I have to have a Channel Blocker BP. Good Luck to you. I recently found out that Garlic Extract in the Vitamin Aisles helps lower your blood pressure, so I just ordered it.
