@ashpen, welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. I moved your message to the active Chronic Pain group here: https://connect.mayoclinic.org/group/pain/ I did this so you can connect with others.

I might suggest that you contact your PT and between now and your appointment on the 15th keep a journal about your pain to discuss with your orthopedic physician. Take note of the intensity of the pain, the time of day and any activity you were doing at the time, etc.

While we wait for others to join in the discussion, can you tell me a bit more about yourself? What is the cause of pain? Do you have a diagnosis? Is the pain only in your knees?

Well, cause according to my orthopedic physician, my hamstrings are to tight and quads are to lose. This leaving pulling on left knee cap. Right knee has damage from supporting left.
Physician therapist said because of family history and how laxative my knee cap is and my level of flexibility I may have hypermobility disorder or ehlers danlos. But, he only mentioned that once.
So right now would say they have ideas no definite diagnosis. My knees are main focus now cause they give out sometimes. But I have a little issue with my ankles, hips, elbows, and shoulders.
I always doing alot and I have lately gotten hurt alot more then I use to a couple years ago but, I have also gotten more flexibility. I have sprained my wrist multiple times, my ankle once, and my shoulder once. I have dislocated my shoulders multiple times.
