Hi again Jane,
I heard that some Anti-convulsants can cause Thyroid hormones to vary. I read hyperthyroid can cause sensitivity to heat and excessive sweating, and people with hypothyroidism may struggle to keep warm.
My Mom had low thyroid and her doctor had her take vitamin D. Have you had yours checked? Has your doctor offered to increase your Thyroid medication?

Thank you for reaching out. I have also read the same. My epileptolgist isn’t the one who caught my hypothyroidism but yes I do have low vitamin d. I do take supplements for it. Since I have VNS I have also read it can cause heart rate to drop. I did call my epileptolgist and tell them I need to see a endocrinologist
