@mjay first, it is great to hear that you sought care and got a breast exam. It seems reasonable to associate a flux in hormones to new breast pain. I found an article that talks about the difference between cyclical and non-cyclical breast pain and how hypothyroidism can play a role in breast tenderness.

Thank you for the article. After reading it and doing more research, breast pain/sensitivity is definitely a symptom of thyroid dysfunction, and having just had a thyroid lobectomy, it seems this is the latest issue I'll be dealing with. I'll be seeing my endocrinologist this week to get thyroid levels checked and possible meds. I am on an aromatase inhibitor as a BC survivor, and I'm sure my hormones are really whacked at this point in time. Oh the fun...not.
