CBD oil for pain

In using CBD for pain it took me a month or two before I began to notice the effect. I have been able to graduate from 6 oxycodone/day to one oxycodone every 2-4 days. And I use combination of THC and CBD but found higher CBD was more effective. That process took me a year to figure out. Give yourself a break since you’ve had the pain for so long why would you expect it to disappear overnight with any analgesic products except injectable ones?

Jenatsky,
Yes, perhaps I didn't give the CBD enough time to kick- in. I did hear from a friend, who is also a Florian that THC is all the rage down there! I could only find CBD 50mg here in S. Carolina: Which did help my adult daughter to sleep better.
It turns out that the pain that I experience is mostly digestive related, as the route that carries the enzymes to the intestine from my liver has been remodeled. This change, along with a partial stomach, spleen and pancreas removal, has been pretty intense! The surgeon gave a timeline of 3 to 6 weeks in recovery, yet- as everyone heals at their own pace; it could take up to a year for my abdomen to settle into all these new ways of processing. I am off all opiods, Tylenol and muscle relaxant is it, for now.
