I never thought I'd be thankful for just being alive another day. When I was first diagnosed with liver cancer 4 1/2 years ago, my chances of surviving a year were small, but thanks to the miracle workers at Mayo Transplant Department and a very special Interventional Radiologist, Dr. Toskich, and his magic beads, I'm still able to enjoy the blessings of life.
