Today is 1 year since I tested positive for covid. Insomnia continues to plague me. Either I can not fall asleep or I wake after 2-3 hours and unable to fall back asleep for another 1-2 hours. I do not watch TV, play on my phone or laptop in bed. I have a routine of going to bed at the same time every night, cleaning teeth and face, change to pajamas, get in bed, only a bedside lamp is turned on, read a book (not magazine or news) 30-60 minutes, turn off the lamp without going to bed. I usually wind down with a tv show on the couch and the lights low for the hour prior to getting ready for bed. I don't drink caffiene past 3pm. BUT… Melatonin will help is I have more than 2 nights in a row with difficulty sleeping.
