@jragu, This is something you should discuss with your doctor like I did with mine. There is evidence linking statins with neuropathy but there are risks with not taking the drug based on your health condition and other factors. There may also be lifestyle and diet changes that you can make so that the need to take the drug is not needed which is something else to discuss with your doctor. Yes John, I am taking PRAVASTATIN Sodium for my cholesteral. After talking to a CVS Pharmacist, he inform me that what I am eperiencing is the side effect of this medicine. He recommended that I stop taking the medicine and ask my heart doctor for a replacement. He informed me to let him know the medicine that my doctor prescribe, so that he will decide whether its the right medicine.
