Hi, Jim (@thankful). To answer your question, you understood my story correctly (except that I suffered a small stroke, not a transient ischemic attack (TIA) which would involve a shortage of blood, not a blood clot as I suffered). The clot formed when we interrupted my anticoagulation medication for two days because my INR had risen to over 5 for unexplained reasons. Ordinarily, my INR holds in the 2.1-2.6 range. Let us know how your INR is checking out and whether we can share more experiences that may be helpful. Martin
