tinitus isnt making our beds and walls vibrate. i think whatever it is is under us. and i think its about to come out

I have made my way to this forum after once again trying to get more information regarding this phenomenon.

Your specific description of not just the hum, which I have learned to accept, but specifically the motor running is uncanny. It genuinely sounds like a truck (but with a bigger motor) idling in the distance. It’s usually around 2 -3am. The hum I can live with, but this low throaty motor rumbling in the far off distance is maddening. It’s also accompanied with feelings vibrations laying in bed or very subtle shaking of the floor when standing. The physical vibrations/shake kind of come and go while the motor running is constant.

I live in the country, my neighbors are not close. There have been no new roads, expressways, infrastructure built that would explain it. I’ve lived in this house for 8 years now, and first noticed the hum about 4 years ago, and this motor running within the past year. I’m 35(f)and as far as I know, don’t have a reason to have tinnitus. However, my description is uncannily, and eerily similar to your experience.
