Welcome to Connect, Charles. You found a great place to meet folks like you who actually listen, hear and understand because they're in similar situations. I have found true healing among these online messages. And, I really have and am developing real long-distance, no-face friendships that I cherish. You can share openly, safely, and hopefully, you'll see a lot of internal, emotional healing while learning new ways to heal the body from those who're doing it!
I use Frankincense and Myhrr daily on my arthritic and very dry hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders. I also add in there other places I want to make feel better... I almost nightly massage it into my feet and legs.. I'm very pleased to find this healing balm.
I buy The Three Wise Men from Walmart, frankincense, myrrh, and coconut oil balm that arrived as a liquid and then inside became a balm. I've been so surprised and excited to find some things that really help, give me some relief from pains and issues I've experienced for years. And, get off the heavy meds that have so many negative side effects for me. I was taking Lyrica, which helped a lot, for many years; gabapentin the same, oxycodone, and on and on. I only take Robaxin muscle relaxant now, for pain. and cramping. I also take Requip and Vitron Iron w/C-over the counter, for restless leg syndrome. They also help with all the issues re my legs/feet.
Requip is a wonder drug for me. It helps me daily with lifting my feet more easily, making my legs feel lighter, no longer 1000lbs each! I don't drag my feet anymore when I'm tired. It affects the absorption and use of dopamine in the brain if I understand correctly. which also improves my outlook, This drug and Cymbalta have both helped me
Vitron-C is iron plus C, OTC, prescribed by my sleep doctor to help lessen RLS and raise my iron level as I was for many years low in ferrous. It's gradually rising, very gradually, still too low but so much better and it helped greatly the RLS, and overall health. and energy.
I consider John Bishop as my neuropathy guru, @johnbishop. He's been dealing with these things for long years and has found by trial and error and lots of research what helps his situations. He's a great guy and if you contact him he'll help you.
I do hope some of what I've said will be helpful for you, Charles. It's important for us to give and care....I hope you feel that caring coming through these messages.
Blessings on your journey. Elizabeth
Oh, I must add another angel...Chris Trout, @artscaping. Chris is my medical marijuana guru and has lots of excellent, helpful information about that source of pain and anxiety relief. I use MM daily, a 1:1, CBD:THC tincture at night about an hour before sleep. It is a miracle for me. Relieves anxiety, lessens pain and I sleep like a baby, almost, an old baby! It's a good tool to add to your toolbox. Note: I've had a very bad rash, thought it was shingles but not, painful, blisters, sores, bright red, etc.....I couldn't reach my doctor for help so researched and used medical marijuana 1:1, CBD:THC lotion on the rash. It stopped the pain and all discomfort within seconds. It's well now, healed by using this lotion, only! ess
