I’m not really sure there’s a definitive start date for post covid recovery. The “normal” recovery time seems to be up to 6 weeks with the lingering cough. But as you know, there are thousands of people having side effects way longer. It’s discouraging and frustrating to both the patients and the medical community.

It’s a relief to hear your PCP is being proactive and not dismissing your symptoms. That doesn’t seem to be the case with everyone. It’s also encouraging to see you’re at least improving, albeit slowly.

What are you about to do daily as far as walking and eating? If you’re not feeling well, I can’t imagine your able to keep up a healthy diet. Do you get enough water during the day? Have you had blood tests to check your iron level and hemoglobin. Some of those symptoms can be from low iron and dehydration.

Update: My doctor started me on new asthma inhaler w/corticosteroids last Tuesday. I am doing better.l! Still having fatigue, SOB, and chest pain/tightness. I’m now in week 8 and in recovery stage. I had PFT this past Friday, I did not do well.
